Greetings Bay Point Elementary families,
It’s important to give back and show your child(ren) that their education is important. One of the simplest ways to do this is by volunteering at our school.
Ms. Johnson (School Office Clerk/Family & Community Liaison) has asked me to remind families that in order to help ensure the safety of our students, anybody planning to help out during school hours (8:35am-2:35pm) must be registered as a volunteer. This includes those of you volunteering inside the classroom, helping our staff in the front office/media center, and/or chaperoning during an upcoming field trip.

Are you already a registered volunteer, but you haven’t yet reactivated your volunteer status for the current school year? If so, then you must do so before December 1st. Otherwise, your information will be deleted from the system.
Reactivating your volunteer status is quick and easy. Simply, log in to FOCUS using your volunteer User ID and Password. Your User ID is “v.” followed by your last name, first initial (e.g. v.smithp). Your Password is your last name (capitalize the first letter) followed by your four digit year of birth (e.g. Smith2012). You will then be prompted to answer a few quick questions. Need some help? If so, then be sure to stop by the front office. Ms. Johnson will be glad to help you out!
