Update 9/3/2008: The Florida Supreme Court today threw out amendments 5, 7 and 9, relating to property taxes and school vouchers on the grounds that they were improperly placed on the November ballot and are misleading to voters.
This is absolutely wonderful news for advocates of children and public education. We thank all of you for your efforts on educating and informing the public about the impact of these amendments.
Florida PTA did indeed speak up for every child with one voice.
